     Adoption Information

Siberian Huskies are not the breed for everyone!

If you are unfamiliar with Siberian Huskies, we ask you devote a moment now to do some research.  Please read the information we have provided in our education area before embarking on your Northern breed adventure - it will save you lots of heartache and headache in the end.

Too often, we are contacted by people needing to surrender their Husky because they just were not prepared to take on the responsibility of this challenging, but wonderful breed.  We want to ensure that all of our potential adopters are well educated and informed regarding the true nature of the Siberian Husky before welcoming the dog into their home.

Remember Siberian Huskies have a tendency to jump fences. If you have a fence shorter than 6 feet and/or a chain-link fence, you will have to provide safe containment for your new Husky. We ask that you review the information on how to install a hot wire fence for your yard.
