I love coming to visit this site. I have been considering adopting a husky for quite some time, as I grew up with them, but I don't live in my own space right now. I am very excited to see that these fun and active dogs are getting some love and attention.

We still have our husky we adopted 10 years ago! We recently adopted again (another husky buddy!) This is my third generation of adopting huskies. I can't stress the gratidude to the volunteers of North Star for supporting all the "families to be!" Keep up the good work! God Bless.

Heard about you guys from a guy while hiking in the mountains. He had his husky with him at the time so I asked. Can't adopt just yet, but plan to in the near future!

Hi Polaris!!! Been a while since I hopped on, but a quick update- I now have two rescues, Roscoe and Domo, and I have lost about 10 lbs in the last couple of months trying to keep up with them!! I am moving to the mountains next month, and am thinking I could probably make room for a third :) I adore this wonderful, playful, and sometimes spazzy breed!!!

I was at the meet up today in Englewood today and Ice and I had so much fun. Its nice to see so many husky owners and their dogs having fun. I look at the site all the time and am in the process of trying to talk my boyfriend into getting another dog. When we decide to I know we will be coming here to find the next member of our family.

I was looking around on the net and decided to check out the Husky Rescue for CO and I love your site, I had to donate! We just got our first Husky (and first dog together) and he's such a stubborn ball of fun and fluff! I can't wait until we have more space so we can adopt another one!
